One of the great things about exchange-traded funds is that investors looking to build a diversified portfolio can use ETFs to do so. Following is a list of ETFs representing various asset classes around the globe from which an investor can build many different portfolios.
Fixed-Income/Bond ETFs:

The Fund seeks results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the intermediate-term sector of the United States Treasury marker as defined by the Barclays Capital 7-10 Year Treasury Index. The assets of the trust consist primarily of silver held by the custodian on behalf of the trust. The objective of the trust is for the shares to reflect the price of silver owned by the trust, less the trust’s expenses and liabilities.
- iShares GSCI Commodity-Indexed (NYSE:GSG): About the company: iShares S&P GSCI Commodity-Indexed Trust is an exchange-traded fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund’s objective is that its performance will correspond generally to the performance of the S&P GSCI Total Return Index. The Fund invests in a diversified group of commodities.
- United States Oil Fund LP (NYSE:USO): About the company: United State Oil Fund LP is an exchange-traded fund incorporated in the USA. The Fund’s objective is for the units’ net asset value to reflect the performance of the spot price of West Texas Intermediate light. The Fund invests in futures contracts for West Texas Intermediate light.
Global Equities/Emerging Markets ETFs:
