US Markets recovered part of Friday’s losses but unrest from Egypt still kept investors cautious. Here are some of the after-hours movers:
1) Novellus Systems Inc. (NASDAQ:NVLS): Shares are up $1.13, or 3.13%, to $37.20 after reporting Q4 profit that doubled on increased demand for semiconductors.
2) Anadarko Petroleum Corp. (NYSE:APC): Shares are down 1.08% or $0.83 after reporting Q4 profit that dove 52% mainly because of gains in derivatives the prior year. Production and revenue did grow in the latest period.
3) Baidu.com Inc. (NASDAQ:BIDU): Shares are up a whopping $8.50 or 7.82% after-hours after Q4 earnings rose more than 100% easily coasting past analyst expectations.
4) Onyx Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ONXX): Shares are flat at $35.28 after the FDA announced that the company has fast-track designation which allows it to submit application for its drug, carfilzomib, on a rolling basis, expediting the review process.
