Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is recalling 2,200 tubes of Aveeno-brand baby lotion that could contain too much Staphylococcus, from retailers in the southeastern United States. Staphylococci are a type of bacteria often found on the skin. The company notes the recall is precautionary and limited to a small amount of product.

Amylin Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:AMLN) jumps after the Food and Drug and Administration approved Bydureon. Bydureon is a weekly treatment for diabetes. Alkermes (NASDAQ:ALKS), its partner on the drug, is also up on heavy volume.
