With the chances “slim to none” that Walgreen (NYSE:WAG) will perhaps not solve its dispute with Express Scripts (NASDAQ:ESRX) before their current contract ends Saturday. However, the drugstore chain has unveiled a “patient transition plan” of discounts and other steps to help patients covered by the ESRX pharmacy network to continue to use Walgreen locations after the agreement ends.
