Precision Capital Management submits: “What is the best time of day to go long or short?  The answer shifts over time, but there are some recent trends to consider.  Above is a chart of SPY from the beginning of the March rally, with various time segments of the day in different colors.  Since the beginning of October, the opening hour (yellow) has been very bullish, while 10:30 am to 12:00 pm EDT (light orange) has been very bearish.  The best time to be long?  From the close to the open.  For a daily map of what to expect in the equities markets, visit our website.” (Source: Precision Capital Management)
