Research In Motion Limited (NASDAQ:RIMM) has learned that the Judge, in a patent action brought by Mformation in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, concluded that the evidence did not support the Jury’s finding of patent infringement. The judge granted RIM’s motion for judgment.
General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) is recalling about 1.3 million dishwashers after electrical failures sparked fires that caused “extensive” property damage. “Consumers should stop using these dishwashers, immediately, and disconnect the power,” Inez Moore Tenenbaum, chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, said today at a Washington news conference.
