Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) intends to pay closely held Bind Therapeutics up to $210 million for the development of medicines that use its nanotechnology platform, Bloomberg reported. The companies plan to collaborate on preclinical work and New York-based Pfizer will be given the option to pursue development of the compounds that it selects, Bind stated. The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based company could receive up to $50 million in upfront and development payments, and it is eligible for $160 million more concerning regulatory and sales goals.
