Citigroup (NYSE:C) has intentions overhaul its global operations over coming months, as new chief executive Mike Corbat is planning to free up resources in underperforming countries. The plans are intended to fund growth elsewhere as an attempt to both increase returns and take advantage of a mass pullback from some rivals. Citigroup will continue as normal in 48 countries and add more resources into a 20 more including Mexico, Singapore, India, Hong Kong and China.
