Who’s DOMINATING Online Video?

The internet revolutionized how people view and consume information. From email to social-media networking, users are finding more content to digest than ever before. The popularity of the internet also paved the way for more advertising in our daily lives.

According to comScore Inc. (NASDAQ:SCOR), a leader in measuring several aspects of the digital world, Americans are viewing a record breaking amount of video ads. The company recently announced that data from its Video Metrix service showed that more than 180 million U.S. internet users watched 36.6 billion online content videos in May. Video ads, often a pesky prerequisite for viewing online videos, increased to 10.1 billion, an increase from April’s 9.5 billion. It was the first time on record that video ads surpassed 10 billion.
