Whiting USA Trust CONTACTED by NYSE and 2 Stocks Sliding to 52-Week Lows

UBS (NYSE:UBS): The United Kingdom’s budget deficit in June was £14.4 billion, which was larger than economists had expected, and generated new doubts as to whether Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne can meet his full-year fiscal goals, According to Bloomberg. The shortfall one year earlier was £13.9 billion, as recorded by the Office for National Statistics. UBS shares closed down 4.69 percent on the day at $10.15, and have been traded in a 52-week range of $10.41 to $17.59.

Whiting USA Trust I’s (NYSE:WHX) unusual market activity in its trust divisions, has prompted the New York Stock Exchange to contact the Trust in keeping with its usual practice. The Trust responded that its policy is to not comment on unusual market activity. Shares closed up 10.76 percent on the day at $10.09, having traded in a 52-week range of $8.81 to $19.15.

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company, Ltd. (NYSE:YGE): China’s Ministry of Commerce will look into imported American and South Korean solar-grade polysilicon, while tensions accelerate between major solar manufacturers, according to Reuters. Shares closed down 4.25 percent on the day at $2.48, and have been traded in a 52-week range of $2.50 to $7.71.
