Weyerhaeuser EXPECTS Comparable Q3 and 2 Stocks Riding 52-Week Highs

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) practices of in Mexico were apparently the catalyst behind the Securities and Exchange Commission, and the Department of Justice possibly initiating an inquiry of the retail sector for breaches of the anti-foreign bribery law, according to Reuters. The agencies are now deliberating such a move subsequent to other unnamed retailers reporting possible offenses by their employees. Shares closed up 1.15 percent on the day at $74.52, and have traded in a 52-week range of $48.31 to $73.95.

Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE:WY) predicts comparable sales volumes for most of its products in Woods Segment in the third quarter. Shares closed up 2.79 percent on the day at $23.59, having been traded in a 52-week range of $14.82 to $23.84.

Ixia, Inc. (NASDAQ:XXIA) forecasts third quarter revenue between $103 million and $107 million, with consensus at $97.67 million. Shares closed up 15.34 percent on the day at $14.96, and have traded in a 52-week range of $7.08 to $14.88.
