Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) Worldwide Developers Conference is here, the keynote address is scheduled to kick off the event now!

WWDC will begin with CEO Tim Cook’s keynote address at 10 a.m. PDT — that’s 1 p.m. EDT — in which he is expected to announce a range of new software and hardware updates. Apple’s MacBook Pro line is expected to get a refresh, while we know for a fact iOS 6 will be launched at WWDC — just look at the evidence: Get Ready for iOS 6.

It’s also thought Apple will release a new SDK that would allow third-party developers to build Apple TV-compatible software. BGR claimed last month that Apple was testing a new “control out” API and would demonstrate a refreshed version of the Apple TV operating system at WWDC running on the much-rumored Apple HDTV. Among other expected launches are OS X Mountain Lion, which Apple has already said would be released sometime this summer, and and the iPhone 5, though most analysts contend the new phone will likely be launched in the fall.
