Weight Watchers President SUPPORTS NY Drink Curbing and 1 Morning Hot Stock Attracting Attention

Pursuant to a ruling by a judge in early August, Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) is bound to continue support to H-P (NYSE:HPQ) servers running on Intel’s (NASDAQ:INTC) Itanium CPUs, with Oracle pledging to release the Itanium software on a similar schedule as that for IBM’s Power processors. However, H-P has already shifted its high end servers off Itanium to Intel’s Xeon CPU’s.

David Burwick, President of Weight Watchers North America (NYSE:WTW), has come out publicly in support of New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s drive to curb consumption of carbonated drinks in the city. The irony: Burwick is a former senior executive from PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP).
