American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) reports that it’s partnering with top mobile media firm Zumobi, in keeping with its Membership Effect advertising campaign which was recently introduced. This endeavor is a first, in that it leverages the advanced social features of Zumobi’s Brand Integration platform, which creates very useful experiences for smartphone users, personalized to their interests and spending habits.

Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), National Association has divested its mortgage servicing rights for a $10.4 billion portfolio of residential loans in government-sponsored enterprise pools, to Nationstar Mortgage (NYSE:NSM). It’s been announced that Newcastle Investment (NYSE:NCT) will co-invest with Nationstar on the portfolio.

Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE:CAT) and Westport Innovations (NASDAQ:WPRT) have agreed to co-develop natural gas technology for off-road equipment, which includes mining trucks and locomotives.

Walt Disney Co. (NYSE:DIS) says that it plans to pull back on the advertising of junk food on its TV and radio programs that are aimed at children.
