Sprint Nextel Corp. (NYSE:S) announced its plans to offer new iPhone 5 on its network on Friday, September 21. Both new and existing customers will be able to pre-order the iPhone 5 starting at 12:01am PT on Friday, September 14 at www.sprint.com/iPhone. The shares traded up $0.09 (1.76%) recently at $5.19.
Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) intends to include Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) FaceTime video-calling feature via its cellular network on every data plan it offers, and AT&T (NYSE:T) refuses to do the same, according to the Wall Street Journal.
