Vodafone Group plc (NASDAQ:VOD): Today, the front-page headlines for British newspapers will be on page three. The company’s signature red logo took over entire front pages. The wrapper-style covers of the Telegraph, the Guardian, and the Independent continue to boast the quality of a faster network the operator is building. The newspapers used their most prominent section as a way to advertise for a client as an attempt to increase revenue via new marketing methods as a means to counter a decline in print readership amid a shift of readers to Web publications. The print circulation of Britain’s national newspapers saw a decline of almost 9 percent during September from a year earlier and advertising clients have reduced spending amid the European debt crisis.

MetroPCS Communications, Inc. (NYSE:PCS): The Google Wallet twitter account tweeted that MetroPCS users will now gain access to the popular mobile payment solution.  The tweet stated, “Happy to announce that @metroPCS now supports Google Wallet! Have a Samsung Galaxy SIII on MetroPCS? Download: goo.gl/5RhBZ”.  This is likely the best way to get a confirmation regarding any type of new feature or announcement.  A new version of Google Wallet may be in the process of being developed as other payment solutions like ISIS have entered the scene.

Clearwire Corporation (NASDAQ:CLWR) made a huge reduction to the amount of TD-LTE cell sites it intends to have on air by next summer amid declines in regards to its wholesale business and listless retail growth. The operator now intends to install only 2,000 TD-LTE base stations by the conclusion of June 2013, which has dropped from the 5,000 it previously intended to roll out. “This does not look good for Clearwire transitioning away from WiMAX to LTE,” stated analyst Jeff Kagan.
