VIVUS Inc. (NASDAQ:VVUS) : JPMorgan sees concerns regarding VIVUS’s intellectual property portfolio for its obesity drug Qsymia as resulting in an unwarranted sell-off in shares. Following conversations with patent attorneys, JPMorgan states that it has comfort with Qsymia, and the firm keeps an Overweight rating on the stock.

Colony Financial, Inc. (NYSE:CLNY) reported higher than expected Q2 EPS, causing RBC Capital to believe that the company performed well. The firm expects the company to beat EPS expectations in the near future. The firm reiterates its Outperform rating and a $22 target on the stock.
