JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) is among several firms who have experienced cyber attacks on their electronic banking operations, such as those recently seen at Bank of America Corporation (NYSE:BAC), Wells Fargo & Co. (NYSE:WFC), and Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C), according to The Los Angeles Times. A group which claimed responsibility threatened that it would next target U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) and The PNC Financial Services Group (NYSE:PNC).
Microsoft Corporation’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows 8 operating system is being launched, but it isn’t yet ready, said Intel Corporation’s (NASDAQ:INTC) Chief Executive Paul Otellini, at a company meeting in Taipei on Tuesday, adding that improvements are still needed to be made to the software, according to a person who preferred not to be identified.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) For years, companies have been restricted to no more than one-third of the available spectrum in a territory by the Federal Communications Commission. United Technologies Corporation’s (NYSE:UTX) Otis Elevator division reported the opening of a new LEED Gold standard facility in Chongqing (formerly Chungking), located in southwest China. The new factory possesses the capacity to make more than 15,000 elevator units annually and reinforces Otis’ extensive investment throughout the country, which has a market that currently comprises half of all its worldwide elevator sales.
