AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) is said by several sources to be instructing its store managers to talk customers out of purchasing Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone, and instead guide them towards Android and Windows Phone handsets, such as the Nokia (NYSE:NOK) Lumia 900, even when customers come into stores specifically looking for the iPhone 4 or 4S. In the second quarter, AT&T’s iPhone sales dropped by 14 percent quarter-over-quarter to 3.7 million units. Shares have been traded in a 52-week range of $27.29 to $38.11.

Transcananda Corporation (NYSE:TRP) says that it has been chosen by the Fort Hills Energy Ltd Partnership to design, build, own and operate the proposed Northern Courier Pipeline project. The Pipeline carries a capital cost of $660 million and consists of a 90-kilometre pipeline system that will transport bitumen and diluent between the Fort Hills mine site and the Voyageur Upgrader, which is seated north of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Shares have been traded in a 52-week range of $37.29 to $45.90.
Time Warner Inc. (NYSE:TWC) reports that since its opening between July 20 and July 29, The Dark Knight Rises has grossed more than $535 million globally. Also, Magic Mike has grossed more than $100 million at the domestic box office from its debut in June through July 29th. Time Warner shares have traded in a 52-week range of $57.15 to $86.30.
Unilever Plc (NYSE:UL): The World Bank official in charge of agriculture risk management foresees “growing concern across the world from developing countries” regarding the rise in grain prices. Analysts worry about how the affected countries react to the price increases, especially the case in which they stockpile or resort to panic buying like they did in 2007, which if repeated could really accelerate the conditions, according to the Financial Times. Shares having been traded in a 52-week range of $29.73 to $36.13.
