Toyota (NYSE:TM) beats net profit estimates for FQ2, reporting net profit of ¥257.92 billion against the previous year’s ¥80.42 billion, and ahead of consensus estimates of ¥232.5 billion. Revenue rose 18% to ¥5.41 trillion. Net profit outlook for the financial year is improved to ¥780 billion from the earlier estimate of ¥760 billion, though it still falls short of consensus estimate of ¥874.9 billion, while revenue guidance is reduced to ¥21.30 trillion from ¥22 trillion, primarily due to the recent setbacks in China.

Tesla Motors (NASDAQ:TSLA) reports third quarter EPS of -$0.92 which is short of estimates by $0.02; on the other hand, revenue is up 127% to $50.1 million, which beats consensus by $2 million.

Elizabeth Arden (NASDAQ:RDEN) reports FQ1 EPS of $0.44 and revenue of $344.5 million which beat by $0.02 and $8 million respectively.
