Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU): Reports Q4 revenue EUR4.26B, consensus $5.76B. Consensus for EPS 11c. Gross margin came in at 35.6% of revenue for the quarter, compared to 36.2% in the year ago quarter and 36.3% in the third quarter. The shares closed at $2.19, up $0.25, or 12.89%. They have traded in a 52-week range of $1.39 to $6.63.

Johnson Controls, Inc. Corp Unit (NYSE:JCI): Three reports argue that more than 400,000 jobs in the U.S. auto supply chain have been lost since 2000 and 1.6M more could be lost if China’s illegal trading practices are not reigned in, reported The Detroit News.

The shares closed at $32.95. They have traded in a 52-week range of $24.29 to $42.92.
