The Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) CEO was awarded $12.1 million in 2012. Moynihan received $11.1 million in restricted shares for the year, along with his base pay. In comparison, he received a compensation package of about $7 million the prior year.
After logging a disastrous 2011, Bank of America was the best performer in the Dow Jones Industrial Average last year, with shares doubling from $6 to $12.
