General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) will unveil its latest earnings on Wednesday, November 9, 2011. The average estimate of analysts is for profit of 99 cents per share, a rise of 25.3% from the company’s actual earnings for the same quarter a year ago. During the past three months, the average estimate has moved up from 96 cents. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate was unchanged. It has risen during the last month. For the year, analysts are projecting net income of $4.28 per share, a rise of 41.3% from last year.

The company’s quarterly results have come in above estimates for the last three quarters. Last quarter, the company booked profit of $1.54 per share versus a mean estimate of net income of $1.21 per share.

The average estimate is the same as three months ago. Between one and three months ago, the average estimate was unchanged. It also has not changed during the last month. Analysts are projecting profit to rise by 13.8% versus last year to 69 cents.

The company’s quarterly results have come in above estimates for the last three quarters. Last quarter, the company booked net income of 18 cents per share versus a mean estimate of profit of 17 cents per share.  Analysts are projecting a rise of 8.9% in revenue from the year-earlier quarter to $3.32 billion.
