This week, investors will keep their eyes on European events. The Greek elections from the weekend will kick things off as well as the start of the two-day G20 meeting on Monday. Leaders from the nations will meet in Mexico and on Friday, the Obama administration said the group will focus their discussions on global recovery, notably Europe.

In the midweek, look for news from the Federal Reserve to take central stage. After the FOMC meeting on Wednesday, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke will hold a press conference. Marketwatchers will keep their ears open for news of a stimulus, possibly another round of bond buying.
