The Week Ahead on Wall Street: Earnings Tsunami, Case Shiller Home Prices

Corporate earnings will be at the forefront for investors’ attention this week. Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) will kick off the earnings reports on Monday, followed by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) on Tuesday.

Economic numbers will also be part of the conversation including a FOMC meeting and its subsequent news conference on Wednesday.

Look for news from Europe to add to potential market action after France’s presidential election on Sunday. President Nicolas Sarkozy and top challenger François Hollande are expected face a runoff election.
