Tesla’s Powertrain Division Proves FAVORABLE and 3 Stock Analyses Turning Heads

Tesla Motors, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSLA):  Following the New York Times favorable review of the Toyota RAV4 EV, Needham said Tesla Motors, Inc.’s powertrain business should not be overlooked. The firm reiterates a Buy rating on their shares with a $40 price target.

Corning Inc. (NYSE:GLW):  Susquehanna said that the recent channel checks on Corning reflect a mixed quarter and downside to their estimates. The firm cited inventory buildup of glass and continued their  manufacturing challenges at Sharp. Susquehanna prefers to remain on the sidelines waiting for better visibility. They maintain their Neutral rating and $13 price target.

Facebook, Inc. (NASDAQ:FB):  Pacific Crest believes that Facebook is looking to monetize more aggressively. However, the firm thinks that this strategy could be a sign of weakness which may alienate users causing their stock to decline further. A Sector Perform rating is maintained on their shares.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE:VRX):  Following the accretive Medicis (NYSE:MRX) acquisition, UBS sees a 10% potential upside for Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE:VRX). The firm sees the deal adding approximately 75c to Valeant’s 2014 earnings. Shares are Buy rated with a $65 price target.
