After speaking with a dealer, the firm has learned that Tesla’s warranty does not cover the natural degradation of the vehicle’s battery. The firm predicts a rise in stock during the near-term but warns that investors should either short the stock or sell long positions “after the (initial) euphoria subsides.” The firm reiterates a Sell rating on the shares.
