Tesla Delays Model X and 2 Auto Stocks Going Places

Tesla Motors (NASDAQ:TSLA): Current price $39.03

In 2012, Tesla debuted its Model X crossover electric vehicle at its Los Angeles design center, saying that it would begin output in late 2013. However, now that production date has been revised, according to Tesla’s shareholder annual report, to late in 2014. The report says that Tesla reached its steady-state rate of production for 20,000 Model S sedans per year in December. The company gave no reason for the Model X delay in its report, but at the time of the original announcement, output of the Model S had not even begun.
