Tech Business Wrap: Samsung Loses LCD Supply Contract With Apple

Samsung (SSNLF.PK) will no longer supply Apple with LCD panels because of disagreements over prices, but its competitors such as AU Optronics (NYSE:AU), LG Display Co. (NYSE:LPL), and Sharp Corp. (SHCAY.PK) should get a boost as they are already supplying Apple. The latter has already transferred memory purchases away from Samsung and it says it wants to migrate its application processor manufacturing to Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (NYSE:TSM).
