RadioShack Corporation (NYSE:RSH) and Leap Wireless International, Inc. (NASDAQ:LEAP) have introduced their prepaid mobile service, which has been the focus of many rumors. The service will depend upon the RadioShack brand and will initially offer two Huawei phones, along with 1,000 minutes for $35 per month. Also offered in the deal will be unlimited voice and 1 gigabyte of data for $50 per month. Perhaps in anticipation, MetroPCS Communications, Inc. (NYSE:PCS) recently reduced the price of its own unlimited prepaid plan to $55 per month.
Shares of Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) moved up as additional details about its high-end Lumia 920 Windows Phone emerged on Tuesday (which are to be announced Wednesday). It is said that the device will boast wireless charging support along with a Qualcomm Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM) Snapdragon processor. It will be officially labeled as a PureView phone, although it will only have an 8MP sensor, compared to the Symbian-based 808 which sports a 41MP sensor.
