Sotheby’s (NYSE:BID) Q4 earnings estimate has been reduced by Citigroup to $1.05 from $1.25, which is lower than the consensus estimate of $1.09 due to weaker than expected aggregate auction sales results. The firm reiterates its Neutral rating on the stock.

MetLife, Inc. (NYSE:MET): Barclays has downgraded the U.S. Life Insurance sector because of the ongoing low interest rates, increased hedging costs, and low earnings growth. As part of the change, the firm also downgraded MetLife to Equal Weight from Overweight.
