Express Scripts Inc. (NASDAQ:ESRX): Following Aetna’s (NYSE:AET) planned acquisition of Coventry Health (NYSE:CVH), Leerink thinks that Express Scripts will probably lose Coventry’s pharmacy benefit business to CVS Caremark (NYSE:CVS), since the Medicare portion of the contract expires in 2015 and commercial ends in 2016. Leerink still recommends purchasing Express Scripts shares on any weakness, due to the potential from Medco synergies, generic launches, and new business.

Pharmacyclics Inc. (NASDAQ:PCYC) target has been increased by Rodman & Renshaw after the company announced that its Phase II trial, SPARK, evaluating ibrutinib in Mantle Cell Lymphoma has enrolled its fifth patient, which hits a $50 million milestone payment from Janssen. The firm now believes that Pharmacyclics will file for FDA approval of its ibrutinib during late 2013/early 2014, which is earlier than the firm expected preiviously. The firm keeps its Outperform rating on the stock.

Liberty Media (NASDAQ:LMCA) filed a new application with the FCC for consent to take de jure control of Sirius (NASDAQ:SIRI), causing Canaccord to think that Liberty could be considering a merge with Sirius. The firm believes that a move like this would create a catalyst for Liberty’s stock, and it reiterates a Buy rating and a $101 target on the stock.
