Liquidity Services, Inc. (NASDAQ:LQDT) keeps both its Outperform and its price target of $75 from Oppenheimer, although another research firm issued a negative report. Oppenheimer believes that assessment to have been either erroneous or immaterial in its major points.

EI DuPont de Nemours & Company’s (NYSE:DD) second quarter earnings are the basis for Piper Jaffray’s ‘optimistic’ stance, and its maintaining a price target of $62 and Outperform. The analyst cites the North American agriculture demand and DuPont’s solid construction data in particular.

Rock-Tenn Company’s (NYSE:RKT) disappointing third quarter earnings guidance has led DA Davidson to lower its estimates, although the research firm keeps its Buy and believes that the stock’s valuation is still “extremely compelling”.

Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. (NYSE:RL) stays as Cowen’s list of favorite large-cap ideas in Specialty Retail, due to the retailer’s share valuation (Outperform) growth opportunities in e-commerce and Europe, and conservative guidance.

Starbucks Corp. (NASDAQ:SBUX) has been removed from Baird’s Focus List but keeps its Outperform rating and price target of $65. Baird is still confident that SBUX’ top-line momentum can provide strong earnings growth but it also foresees the potential for management to guide fourth quarter earnings below consensus. However, the coffee giant is also seen as attractive for long-term investors.
