The company’s net sales are expected to total about $7.7 billion, including the unfavorable impact of nearly $400 million of currency, consensus $8.14 billion. The company sees an FY free cash flow of $425 million to$450 million, modest raw material inflation versus the initial estimate of 3 percent to 5 percent, CapEx $130M-$140M. Skywest (NASDAQ:SKYW) announced that it has reached an understanding with Delta Air Lines (NYSE:DAL) on a transaction providing SkyWest, Inc. 34 additional dual-class regional jet aircraft and for the early termination of 66 Bombardier CRJ200 regional jet aircraft beneath its existing Delta Connection Agreements. The 34 additional aircrafts will consist of five Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft and 29 Bombardier CRJ900. SkyWest, Inc. expects to take delivery of the 34 aircraft incrementally from August 2012 to June 2013. In order for the the agreements to be negotiated and completed between SkyWest and Delta, SkyWest also predicts that these changes will be incorporated into its existing Delta agreements with a December 2022 termination date for these operating rights. SkyWest, Inc. plans to remove the 66 CRJ200 aircraft from existing Delta Connection service from August 2012 to December 2015. Of those aircraft, 41 are Delta-financed aircraft which are scheduled to be returned to Delta without obligation to SkyWest. The other 25 aircraft are SkyWest, Inc. financed aircraft and SkyWest is now working on opportunities to mitigate the financial risk associated with the removal of those aircraft from Delta service. The shares closed at $6.31, down $0.24 or 3.66% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $6.25 to $14.32.
Sony Corp Ord (NYSE:SNE): Research in Motion (NASDAQ:RIMM) CEO Thorsten Heins stated that the company is currently investigating opportunities to license out its BB10 operating system, which is still underdevelopment, to larger phone manufacturers, in a Telegraph interview. The shares closed at $11.24, down $0.9 or 7.41% on the day. They have traded in a 52-week range of $11.21 to $25.05.
