Sears Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:SHLD): Factoring firm CIT (NYSE:CIT) is said to be approving orders for Sears again, Women’s Wear Daily reports. CIT previously said it would no longer finance loans to suppliers waiting for payment from the company.

The shares closed at $43.35, up $3.86, or 9.77%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $4.63 billion.

Johnson Controls, Inc. (NYSE:JCI) cut FY12 EPS view to $2.70-$2.85 vs. consensus $2.96. Prior view was $2.85-$3.00. The company sees lower residential HVAC demand In FY12.

The shares closed at $32.46, down $3.12, or 8.77%, on the day. Its market capitalization is $22.09 billion.
