Rackspace RECOGNIZED by Dow Jones and 4 Chip and Big Data Stocks Making Waves

Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC): At the Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco this week, the company’s executives painted a picture of what they believe is the future of PCs, which they see as based on itsUltrabooks and Intel-powered convertible systems. They view the future as one that is very mobile and one with intelligence residing in the machines themselves. The loss this year now stands at $5.8B, Bloomberg reports.

Broadcom Corp. (NASDAQ:BRCM) has collaborated with Microsoft and tier-one OEM providers for the development of new technologies to take advantage of several advanced virtualization, networking, and storage features in Windows Server 2012, which in turn raises server throughput performance up to 77 percent as it lowers CPU overhead as much as 42 percent. Broadcom continued the advancement of its offering with complete in-box support, which gives IT administrators easy installation, without having to add separate driver upgrades.

QUALCOMM Incorporated (NASDAQ:QCOM): This has already proven to be a busy month in the smartphone market, and there is new news of a LG Qualcomm Event that is to take place on September 19th, where the Optimus G may be introduced.

ARM Holdings plc (NASDAQ:ARMH): The A6 processor which is used in the iPhone 5 is a dual-core Cortex-A15 that was manufactured for Apple by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. in its 32-nm HKMG manufacturing process, state analysts at Nomura Equity Research. This makes Apple one of the first companies to introduce a Cortex-A15-based processor, which is the highest performance processor core from ARM Holdings plc.
