Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc (NASDAQ:MDRX), a leader in the health care information technology (HCIT) market, reported Q2 adjusted (excluding one-time items other than stock-based compensation expense) earnings per share of 13 cents, which misses the Zacks Consensus Estimate by a cent.The company also reported that its net income for the quarter totaled $8.0 million (or 4 cents per share) versus a net income totaling $15.9 million (or 8 cents per share) in the previous year’s quarter. Shares of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions Inc are trading 18.12% higher today.
KapStone Paper and Packaging Corp. (NYSE:KS) reported its Q2 2012 adjusted earnings per share of 42 cents, which is an 8 percent increase from the the the previous year’s same quarter EPS of 39 cents but is short of the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 45 cents. With special items included, EPS in the quarter was at 39 cents, a 3 percent rise year over year from 38 cents. Shares of KapStone Paper and Packaging Corp. are trading 0.44% higher today.

JP Morgan Chase (NYSE:JPM) is an investor in Square and Square which uses the bank’s subsidiary to process debit and credit transactions, the report added. Shares of Bank of America Corporation are trading 0.78% higher today.
