“With a touch screen user input a user can accomplish a number of different tasks including adjusting the order of a current playlist, and reviewing a list of recent phone calls,” the patent said. “A response to a current text message can even be managed given a simple virtual keyboard configuration across the face of the flexible display.”
Knowing Apple’s affinity for being able to smoothly integrate all of one’s iDevices, the watch unit would likely interact with the iPhone, Mac computers, iPads, or wireless-enabled iPods. CNET also reports that the watch would feature either Bluetooth or WiFi connectivity, and feature similar gyroscope capabilities as the iPhones and iPads, so the display will always be facing the user.
