Nokia and Microsoft Team Up on Phone Software, MGM Sees Legal Gambling, Chico’s Revenue Strong

Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK): Nokia (NYSE:NOK) will launch a new, cheaper smartphone that utilizes Microsoft’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Windows Phone software next Monday, according to Reuters, which cited two unnamed sources close to Nokia.

MGM Resorts International (NYSE:MGM): The company’s wholly owned domestic resorts earned adjusted property EBITDA for Q4 was $319M, an 18% increase compared to the prior year quarter. MGM Resorts says expects online gambling to be legalized by Congress in 2012.

Chico’s FAS, Inc. (NYSE:CHS): Reported Q4 revenue $569.2M, consensus $546.66M. Says will focus on smaller market opportunities in building out its outlet network. Comments made on the Q4 earnings conference call.

Health Care REIT, Inc. (NYSE:HCN): Health Care REIT issued 18 million shares in a secondary offering priced at $53.50. BofA/Merrill, Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan acted as joint book running managers for the offering.
