Scientific Games Corporation (NASDAQ:SGMS): Roth Capital claims that China Instant ticket retail sales continued to show weakness during August, and the market dropped 15.9 percent year-over-year as the Sports Lottery fell 16.2 percent. Roth thinks that the weak numbers have already bee priced into the company’s shares, and stated that the U.S. market continues to be healthy. The firm reiterates its Buy rating on the stock.

Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ): BMO Capital has stated that the iPhone 5 gives incremental upside to carriers, and that Verizon is in the ideal position to see benefits from 4G LTE coverage and roaming charges. Also, TELUS possesses somewhat better leverage compared to Canadian carriers.

Nike Inc. (NYSE:NKE): According to UBS, Nike’s strong U.S. sales could offset Chinese weakness, and ASP acceleration and re-accelerated apparel sales should show a positive effect on gross margins. Shares have a Buy rating and a $106 price target.
