NH Settles With Shell and Conoco: Energy Biz Wrap

The State of New Hampshire has reached a $35 million resolution with Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE:RDSA)(NYSE:RDSB) and Sunoco (NYSE:SUN) of a lawsuit in regards to allegations that the firms used chemicals that contaminated the groundwater. A similar trial against other companies, among which include Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) and ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP), is scheduled for January.
