The Facebook integration will work similarly to the current Twitter integration. Users will be able to share media and web pages directly to their Facebook through the Share Sheets function.
Successful integration into the Apple OS could help link zealous Apple users to the Facebook platform, creating a more divisive line between them and rival Google (NASDAQ:GOOG). The new OS is expected to go public this fall.
