Netflix Dips and 4 Media Titans Make Waves

Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX): On Monday, Netflix Inc. shares dropped below their 200 day moving average of $80.17, meaning that they changed hands as low as $80.07 per share. As of now, Netflix Inc. shares are trading down nearly 0.9 percent on the day.

Coinstar, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSTR): Sirius XM Radio stock rallied after it announced a 12 percent price increase for January of this year. Last month, Coinstar’s Redbox raised the price by 20 percent on its DVD rentals 13 months ago, and the market believed that it was a sign of strength. These rates would not be increased on Sirius XM and Redbox if they felt that it would harm its business, and the satellite radio provider and disc-renting kiosk operator continue to grow their user counts.
