Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE:BAH) has provided top-line guidance for only the first half of the fiscal year and expects to have revenue growth that is relatively flat to low-single digits. WIth the news, shares were up 13.31% to close at $16.86. They have traded in a 52-week range of $13.33 to $20.11.
Enersys (NYSE:ENS) had some good news to share, announcing that it expects a FQ1 profit of $0.88 to $0.92 per share as “orders in fiscal 2013 have been trending positively, and we expect continued strong operating results.” EnerSys shares were up 6.1% and closed at $33.39. They have traded in a 52-week range of $17.35 to $36.48.
LDK Solar Co. (NYSE:LDK): Despite news from Digitimes that the price of polysilicon has dropped to $20-$22/kg, LDK Solar managed to escape hardly burnt. While AU Optronics and other Taiwanese producers, as well as U.S.-based MEMC and China-based YGE have suffered, LDK shares were up 3.87% and closed at $1.88. They have traded in a 52-week range of $1.76 to $7.68.
Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON) remained above the fold in the market after it raised fiscal guidelines for FQ3 and FY2012, citing sales boosted by a strong seed seeling season in the Americas and expected strong growth in 2013. Accordingly, Canaccord upgraded shares to Buy with a new price target of $89, up from $81. Monsanto shares were up 2.22% and closed at $76.41. They have traded in a 52-week range of $58.89 to $83.95.
