Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC): The United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team (US-CERT) warned in a security advisory on Wednesday that some 64-bit operating systems and virtualization software programs are vulnerable to local privilege escalation attacks while running on Intel processors (CPUs).
