The passenger-vehicle market in China experienced its strongest start since 2010, which shows that auto demand has been thriving compared to other industries, as broader indicators have been slowing in the country, Bloomberg reported. Wholesale deliveries of cars, multipurpose, and sport utility vehicles, saw a 20 percent rise reaching 2.84 million units during January and February, compared to 2.37 million units during the previous year, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers reports. Ford Motor Co. (NYSE:F) and Hyundai Motor both reported that their deliveries experienced a boost surpassing 40 percent during the first two months, which was able to assist the car market in removing the slowing growth that was seen in overall Chinese retail sales and industrial production.
