Is Apple Planning This Double Launch?

As far as the new notebook was concerned, Apple may launch the revamped MacBook Air with Retina display in the third quarter of this year. Parts for the computer were scheduled to begin shipping in the second quarter of the calendar year, it said.

Apple introduced the Retina display on its MacBook Pro lineup last year, but at a premium price. The MacBook Air lineup, meanwhile, is the company most affordable notebook, starting at $999.
