Intel Corp. (NASDAQ:INTC) has joined its peers in feeling the effects from the Thai floods.

On Monday, the company said it anticipates its fourth quarter revenue to reach around $13.7 billion (give or take $300 million), representing a decline from its previous $14.7 billion revenue estimate (give or take $500 million).

Intel noted that its PC customers have used up their inventories as they wait for new new disk drives from hard drive manufacturers, according to MarketWatch. The company looks to rebuild inventories in 2012′s first half.

In a note by Ticonderoga Securities LLC analyst Brian White, he sees a continued PC and consumer markets weakness as evidenced in his monthly barometer report on original device manufacturers.

He added, “We highlighted a much weaker than normal November for our ODM Barometer on Friday. We believe this speaks to weakness in the PC and consumer markets, while the disruption in Thailand could also be impacting these results. This November was the second-weakest November on record, next to November 2008 when revenue fell 16% (month to month).”
