A Look Back: In the second quarter, profit rose 8.2% to $3.66 billion ($3 a share) from $3.39 billion ($2.61 a share) the year earlier, exceeding analyst expectations. Revenue rose 12.4% to $26.67 billion from $23.72 billion.
