General Electric Company’s (NYSE:GE) GE Aviation has reached a deal with The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) that could be potentially worth up to $180 million, to supply the mission control system for the U.S. Air Force’s KC-46A tanker. The arrangement includes design, development and production throughout the term of the program.

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) could be overtaken by Lenovo Group (LNVGY), as the largest worldwide PC maker by sales in 2102, says a Reuters report. However, some observers believe that the quick pickups in market share might beat the expense of profit margins.
International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE:IBM) is said by inside chatter to be among firms that have all pursued and/or rejected potential deals in the social media campaign management sector, reports Business Insider. Other firms involved include SAP (NYSE:SAP) and Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), as such a purchase for the latter could help give it insight into how Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) works and to turn aside that firm’s “competitive aggression”. Moreover, it is said that, subsequent to acquisitions by Salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), Oracle (NASDAQ:ORCL) and Synapse, unification is ongoing in the above mentioned sector.
Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) and Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) are projected to post slowing sales growth due to the way in which China’s weakening economy affects demand for PCs, according to Bloomberg.
